The Storm Awakens
As was usual, the land was once divided by light and dark. But quite soon, the Lord of the Lights got fed up with the way the darks treated them, and built a white wall around a field, a 'horse palace'. The wall took years to build, but once it was done, the lights would all have a home to reside in peacefully.
The darks, with no one to torture eventually turned on each other, which was the cause of the seperation of the Black Empire. Thus, a civil war arises. So the darks battle in their own game, and the lights live happily in their terra.
Although, there is the possibility of the darks getting to the light. It depends on if they come across a light one, or not. If they have a chance of getting at a light, with no other light to help protect them, then they will attack, and have their 'fun'.

Time Line
1. There are 7 months in one year. 2. There are 4 weeks in one month. 3. There are 7 days in one week.

Life Span
Because the lights typically live in a safe enclosed area, it is typical for them to live longer than usual. However accidents and birth defects do happen.
Because the darks are in a war and are not in a safe enclosed area it is typical for them to not live a long life. Sometimes their lives are very short lived. They are tougher than lights due to not being safe their whole life and always being on edge because of the other dark band.
Lights
Lights typically live from 10 to 25 years. While born in the Fall, it is typical for 2 foals out of every 5 born to survive. While born in the Spring, it is typical for 2 foals out of every 6 born to survive. While in the Spring, it is typical for 4 foals out of every 6 born to survive. While in the Summer, it is typical for 3 foals out of every 4 born to survive.
Even though foals are born with birth defects, they are cared for due to the light nature of this herd. Because of this, the light lands are starting to diminish due to over-population. Sooner or later, it will be time for the leader to make a choice to abandon their own defected foals or to kill them quickly out of mercy or hatred of their defected genes. It is not typical of lights to kill their own, but soon, it may be a must. Over-population as well as being close to extinction leads to inbreeding, and this could greatly affect the herd as a whole!
Darks
Darks typically live from 5 to 15 years. While born in the Fall, it is typical for 3 foals out of every 5 born to survive. While born in the Spring, it is typical for 1 foals out of every 5 born to survive. While in the Spring, it is typical for 5 foals out of every 6 born to survive. While in the Summer, it is typical for 3 foals out of every 4 born to survive.
Foals with birth defects are usually abandoned because the band as a whole could suffer. No only would their weak genes affect the family, they could slow them down while on the move. They are either killed or left to suffer alone. If a defected foal appears in the lights' land due to wandering it is sometimes brought into the light herds to be cared for. Most of the time, however, they are also left by the lights. (The reason for this is seen above, below the Lights' statistics.)

Title the topic of your thread the name of your character. If you wish, you may place a pic of your character if it's wide in width or height in your profile. But not your sig! Make a smaller pic and link to your bio and others will see the larger version of it. Of your can not do this and directly link the small versions in your sig to the larger versions for others to see. Thus, you're showing two perdy pics off, and you don't have an oversized sig. It may be no bigger than 550 in width and 450 in height. The small versions of your sig(s) would look better (in my opinion) sized around 250-330 in width and height.

General Biographies Claiming Stallions Mares Breeding Foaling Battling
General -
1. Do not use any fancy font effects or colors. You may only bold, italicize, underline, use sup, sub, and the font sizes 1-2. 2. Staff's word is law, do not argue! 3. The post amount is 150 words. Just start babling, and ranting. Start describing the scenary to give the other RPer a vizualization. This may help them reply better, thus, you in return. So-on. 4. This is an intermediate roleplay. Advanced RPers are completely welcome, and I may accept beginners who actually try to follow the post amount rule with decent posts. 5. One account per character.
Biographies - 1. Please use the form when creating a character. You're very welcome to add to it if you find that I was uncreative in making the form, but be sure to fill out what I require of you. 2. This is a horse RPG. Other animals are not allowed. 3. You may have up to five chracters. 4. You have one week to finish your bio.
Claiming - 1. Only stallions may claim lands. 2. Only leads and their Warrior Lords may recruit members. 3. If you're light, you can be claimed in the second board in the Rayn Heart category. 4. If you're dark, go to the "Question Your Alliance" board to decide which side you want to be on in the civil war. 5. Lights can't claim darks, and vice-vera. They may "horse-napp" them, but the battle is between the divided Black Empire currently.
Stallions - 1. May claim lands. 2. Darks may force-breed. 3. You may only claim one terra. Even if you have more than one stallion. 4. Stallions have a choice in which lead to follow in the civil-war, just as well as the mares.
Mares -
1. Mares are not allowed to claim terra. 2. Mares may fight over other things due to plots and after my permission. 3. Mares may fight over rank, or in wars. 4. Mares have a choice in which lead to follow in the civil-war, just as well as the stallions.
Breeding - 1. Force-breeding can happen anywhere(excluding the light lands), if you're alone. 2. Only darks can force-breed. 3. You have to have your leaders permission to look for a mate in the 'Suitors Fields'. 4. Breeding can happen anywhere. 5. Do not be graphic. Just skip the whole thing. It's against PB ToS.
Foaling - 1. You may foal anywhere. 2. The person whose character is the father of the foal will be required to post their characters stats in the foaling thread before the foaling can begin. 3. Same with the person who roleplays the mother. 4. You may foal a day or two after breeding. Your choice. 5. Do not be graphic. Just skip the whole thing. It's against PB ToS. 6. Please be patient as you wait for me or another appointed staffee to post the foal's stats. 7. If neither or you want to roleplay the foal, you may post it in the foal's stats in the adoption board for another member to pick up. (You get to decide who roleplays it - I approve of it - and you must let the other person know that they are required to roleplay with you until the foal is a year old.)
Battling - 1. No Godmodding (i.e, Fyreheart reared, screaming in defiance, kicking Sky in the head, killing him.) 2. No Power-playing (Fyreheart reared, screaming in defiance, kicking Sky in the ribs, breaking each rib after another). You must let the person who owns the character to decide whether you hit them or not. However, no character is superior to weaknesses, pain, death, or injury - no matter what alliance you are. 3. Post six posts each, then PM the admin to have your battle judged. 4. Fights may happen only in wars, over ranks, leadership, etc. You may have a bit of 'tug-of-wars' and competition for dominance, but no out-right war cries until you get into the battling grounds (Unless a plot calls for it). 5. If you wish to be graphic in battles, PM your opponent and ask them if they have a strong stomach or not. Some people get grossed out by blood, guts, etc. (Me? I love gore! o.o) 6. Your battle will be judged on the length of your posts, whether you god-moded, or power-played, on your spelling, and your grammar, as well as other things. 7. Be patient as you wait for me or another appointed staffee to judge your battle.

Terms of Posting
1. Please do not type in caps or use exclamation points when trying to explain an unfortunate event that turned up by a disagreement. On the Internet, it's considered yelling. If you don't type like this, I'll consider the possibility that you don't mean offense.
2.Don't use chat speak, at all. Its annoying, and can cause you to be despised by everyone. (At least by me! )
3. Don't double post. Whether you accidentally post the same message twice, or purposely post two different messages in a row, it's still double posting. Simply delete those accidents (You're able to delete your own posts), and start using modify.
4. I shall enforce the idea of respect. You'll be banned for a few days depending on your actions, and the severity of them. This site is about having fun and improving your Rp. If you have an issue, please PM me, the admin, and I will get right on it. I want everyone to enjoy this site, and I am willing to listen to complaints. However, if you're immature about it, be prepared to see my temper.
5. I shouldn't have to put rules on behavior issues here. If you're not mature enough to know what to do, and what not to do when 'interacting' with others on the Internet: Sorry, bye. Plain and simple!

If any problems arise in the near future, I shall have to make things more strict. Please follow the rules we have now, so everything can be carefree and fun.

Do not curse, profanity is not allowed excessively.
Do not spam, flame or flood. All of these actions are seriously annoying, and may cause you to be banned from chatting in the C-box. No matter who you might be talking to you'd better be on your best behavior. Everyone deserves the upmost respect.
Don't impersonate anyone. I have IPs and I am not afraid to block anyone! If you become a major problem to us staff and regular members, you'll be banned from the whole site!
